TO ORDER:

  1. Choose your leather color from the drop-down menu.
  2. Choose Brass or Nickel Silver from the drop-down menu.
  3. Choose a length in the drop-down menu. (Order the collar to be 2" larger than a snug neck measurement.) Collars are sized to be fastened in the second hole from the end, allowing for a 1" larger adjustment as well as up to 3" tighter. 
  4. For each line, enter text exactly as it is to be engraved. All custom text will be engraved as it is written. This includes the spelling of all words, names, punctuation marks and spaces. Do not include quotes unless you want them engraved. Please be sure to check your order before submitting and include a phone number to reach you, if there is an issue. Maximum of 20 characters, including spaces, per line. (We can usually accommodate more letters on 2nd line as these will be a little smaller. Please enter a longer inscription in "Additional Instructions.")
  5. For each line, choose a font from our fonts photo. We will engrave in all HIGH CASE (all caps) unless otherwise requested, except for Scripts and Olde English which will be engraved in Upper & Lower unless all high case is specifically requested.
  6. Change the QUANTITY at the bottom of the dialog if greater than 1.

DESCRIPTION

Our Leather Dog Collar With Custom Engraved Solid Brass or solid Nickel Silver Name Plate, features a premium 3/4", 12 oz stitched 5 hole leather strap in a Rich Medium Brown or solid Black and a heavy duty, solid brass or stainless steel roller buckle, D ring and a brass or nickel plated steel keeper all of which will last a lifetime. The collar is hand made locally by our wonderful Southern Maryland Mennonite craftsmen using meticulously chosen hides and old world craftsmanship. 

We custom engrave your notched style 2 1/2" plate with two lines, with your choice of font, and mount it with a nice curve to accommodate a comfortable fit for your faithful friend. This is an adult size collar starting at 12" with options for 14", 16", 18", 20", 22", 24" or 26" lengths at $2.00 intervals, as measured from the buckle to the second hole from the tip. 

We use only the finest quality .032" brushed satin solid engraver's quality plates. They are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. 

We rotary diamond burnish the text into the metal five times to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw metal is then acid oxidized to produce an attractive and durable patina on the text.
