These tactical leather dog collars are extremely well suited for handling large breed dogs, K9 units, with the optional rolled leather handles providing extra control in restricted spaces, such as vehicles, crowds, etc. We believe these to be the finest, sturdiest, heaviest duty adult working collars available. They are virtually indestructible!

Our Large, Extra Heavy Duty, Double Ply Leather Dog Collar With Custom Engraved Solid Brass Plate, features a premium 1 1/2", 2 ply 12 oz stitched 6 hole leather strap in choice of Chestnut, Medium Brown, Dark Brown or Black leather with heavy duty solid brass fittings and Chicago Screws, also available in stainless steel. The collar is custom hand made locally by our wonderful Southern Maryland Amish craftsmen using meticulously chosen hides and old world craftsmanship.

A rolled leather handle is available for $20.00.

The buckle is a solid brass or stainless roller type which is easy to fasten/unfasten and will save the leather from premature wear. The keeper is leather; the leash ring is extra heavy, all of which will last a lifetime.

We custom engrave your notched style 4 1/4"" brass or nickel silver plate with two lines, with your choice of font, and mount it with a nice curve to accommodate a comfortable fit for your faithful friend, with brass or silver Chicago screws, (which facilitate change of plate). This is an adult size collar starting at 22" with options for 24", 26", 28" or 30" lengths at $2.00 intervals, as measured from the buckle to the second hole from the tip. (See Sizing Diagram in the photos.)

We use only the finest quality .032" brushed solid satin brass, engraver's quality brass or solid nickel silver .020" plates. They are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust.

We rotary diamond burnish the name five times into the brass, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw brass is then acid oxidized to produce the darkened engraving. We know you will be very happy with this quality accessory for your special friend.

TO ORDER:

1. Select the collar Size you want from the Collar Length drop-down menu. Measure your dog's neck and add two inches to find the correct collar length. (Please see our diagram on how collars are measured).

NOTE: The collars are sized to be fastened in the second hole from the end, allowing for a 1" larger adjustment as well as up to 4" tighter. The collars have plenty of tightening holes.

2. Choose Solid Brass or Stainless Steel hardware from the drop-down.

3. ADD a Handle (+20.00) if desired, from the drop-down menu.

4. From the text dialog box, enter text as it is to be engraved and a font choice for each line. Note: ALL fonts will be engraved in all HIGH case, EXCEPT the Scripts and Olde English, which will be Upper and Lower case, UNLESS specifically noted in the Additional Instructions dialog box. Please DON'T include quotes unless you want them engraved.

IMPORTANT! Since these are custom cut and engraved to your specifications. You MUST cancel within 24 hours or it is considered sold.
