An elegant handmade leather nameplate bracelet with custom engraved solid brass or solid nickel silver name/message plate (2") attached by appropriate color rivets with a snap closure, custom made to your young rider's bracelet size. (Please also see our adult size bracelet listing with a 2 1/2" plate.)- Choose a size from the drop-down. NOTE: These bracelets cannot be resized, so if there is any doubt as to the size, please add 1/4" to 1" to allow for growth.
- Choose Brass or Nickel-Silver ($3.00 extra).
- Choose one or two engraved lines. (Second line is $2.00 extra.)
- For each line, enter text as it is to be engraved. All custom text will be engraved as it is written. This includes the spelling of all words, names, punctuation marks and spaces. Do not include quotes unless you want them engraved. Maximum of 14 characters, including spaces, on the first line. An additional line is $2 extra.Please be sure to check your order before submitting and include a phone number to reach you, if there is an issue.
- For each line, choose a font from the Font drop down menu. We will engrave in all HIGH CASE (all caps) unless otherwise requested, except for Scripts and Olde English which will be engraved in Upper & Lower unless all high case is specifically requested.
DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful 5 oz, 1/2" wide leather bracelet handmade with latigo harness leather which results in a superior quality leather that is tough, but very supple, and will shape itself to the wrist through wear. The closure is a brown snap custom set to your young rider's bracelet size. Having a single snap is less bulky and easier to work than buckles and such. It comes with a solid brass custom engraved name plate, with a custom inscription. You could add a second line, if you'd like to add lineage, a farm name or the owner's name etc.
These are hand cut and made to order. The approximate dimensions are 1/2" wide with a 2" x 3/8" name plate attached with appropriate rivets, and brown powder coated snaps. All edges are burnished and dyed.
Plates are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are sturdy, and create an elegant finish for your bracelet.
We rotary diamond burnish the text into the brass five times to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw brass is then acid oxidized to produce an attractive and durable patina on the text.
